The Worst Club With the Best Members ft. Alison Prato
In today’s episode we are joined by Alison Prato, a mother of two, journalist, creator of Infertile AF the podcast, and co-founder of Fertility Rally.
Alison had her first child at 35 with no complications. When she and her husband began trying for a second child at 38, she had no idea that her age would make things more complicated.
She experienced recurrent pregnancy loss and had four miscarriages before she was able to have her second child through IVF. The loss and struggle to stay pregnant put pressure on her marriage and made Alison feel lost and alone.
That’s why Alison created her podcast, where she gives people a platform to share their journeys with infertility and family building. She wanted to create something that was informative and entertaining while also normalizing the topic so that other people can see that they are not alone in their journeys.
Join us this week as Alison tells us how she is contributing to the conversation of normalizing infertility and showing people they are not alone.
