Advancing Reproductive Care with Dr. Leah Roberts: PCOS, Ovarian Biology & Patient Advocacy

Season #3

In this episode of Friends with Fertility, we sit down with Dr. Leah Roberts, M.D.—a South Florida native, reproductive endocrinologist in Boca Raton, and passionate advocate for reproductive rights and infertility coverage. With a career defined by clinical excellence, scientific curiosity, and patient-centered care, Dr. Roberts is a trusted voice in the evolving landscape of fertility medicine.

Dr. Roberts graduated cum laude from the University of Florida and earned her medical degree from Florida Atlantic University. She went on to complete her OB-GYN residency and serve as Assistant Professor at Temple University before pursuing fellowship training at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey, where she also trained as an embryologist—giving her a uniquely holistic understanding of reproductive biology.

She has presented nationally on ovarian aging and patient engagement, and she is recognized for her expertise in PCOS, ovarian biology, and third-party reproduction. Dr. Roberts is also a Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor at FAU’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and an active advocate through RESOLVE and ACOG. Her insights have been featured on CBS, ABC, and in publications including the Los Angeles Times, Sun Sentinel, and Irish Star.

In our conversation, Dr. Roberts shares the latest developments in reproductive science, the importance of personalized treatment, and what patients really need to know about ovarian aging, PCOS, and modern family building.
